Eric Berthaud

Eric Berthaud, 47 years old, is the founder of LEA SA ( xDSL and PLC broadband solution leader). Under his management LEA has grown to 42 millions Euros in 4 years (2000 to 2004).Eric is graduated from ENSEIRB (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Electronique et  de Radioélectricité de Bordeaux), completed a DEA in laser physicals (engineer level) and  is also  a graduate of IAE (Institut d'Administration des Entreprises).

Didier Boivin


Didier Boivin, a U.S. semiconductor industry veteran, brings to Watteco more than 25 years of entrepreneurial and multinational company experience with extensive background in broadband, wireless and consumer market segments. Prior to joining Watteco, Didier was marketing vice president for Centillium Communications. He also has North American executive experience with companies such as 3DSP, DSP Group VoicePump subsidiary, and Alcatel Microelectronics. In addition, Mr. Boivin held various marketing and engineering positions at Rockwell Semiconductor Systems, in US, TRT France and Alcatel Telic France. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Ecole Centrale d'Electronique in Paris and his Executive M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Paul Bertrand

Paul Bertrand has always been an entrepreneur, and has more than 25 years of technology innovation experience in the signal processing field. Paul founded Watteco and has been the company's CEO since 1999. He invented Watteco's revolutionary WPC™ technology and is the patent holder for all technologies in Watteco's extensive IP portfolio. He is responsible for Watteco's U.S. business development, including key strategic initiatives related to a variety of Smart Grid and energy-efficiency innovations. Paul participates in IPSO as a board member, and represents Watteco on the board of the "Pole de competitivite" Capenergies. He also created the Command & Control groups of UPA and ETSI.

Michel GAETA

Michel has 20 years of engineering experience in the fields of signal processing and general electronic design. He was previously technical director at Toyota / AISIN, and was also director at VIBRIA Engineering, where he was involved in numerous projects focused on defense and industrial markets including automotive, ESA and Arcelor. He joined Watteco in 2006 to lead WPC™ technology development. He has a PhD in engineering with honors focused on microelectronic and signal processing research.

Magali DESCHIZEAU

Magali was formerly an engineer at CTI, where she worked on several projects in the acoustic and signal processing fields, including developing smart sensors for integration into industrial and consumer systems. Magali also spent eight years in electric audit related to energy efficiency in the residential and tertiary sectors in Watteco.

Since 2006, Magali has managed Watteco's technical project development team.
