6LoWPAN Reference Designs

Watteco has developed a set of reference designs dedicated to building energy management leveraging ultra low power IPv6-based RF and PLC communication. These 6LoWPAN Reference Designs offer a convenient way to design efficiently a robust energy management ecosystem using "Plug & Control" solutions for Smart Grid applications with minimal development effort to accelerate Time to Market for OEMs.

Three types of reference designs are available according applications:

> C&C (Command & Control) Devices : Plug & Control systems for energy management over IPv6 networks

> PLC / RF Router : Router system to combine RF and PLC devices in a network

>LSN Gateway : Gateway enabling to connect a smart objects network to the web

Watteco's reference designs leverages IPv6 Stack facilitating the integration of any electrical appliances into an IP networks and allowing a direct communication with internet-based devices and web servers/browsers.
