MultiPhy 6LowPAN network development platform.

Meshed LLNs introduce specific latency and packet loss which impact the design of applications. Engineers willing to develop applications for multi-node 6LoWPAN networks often face the issue of testing their code in realistic conditions.

The Watteco Development Board Station provides a testing platform implementing up to 4 6LowPAN nodes and using several LLNs available as modules (868MHz, 2.4GHz and low power CPL modules are available). Each node runs a separate RPL routing process and therefore the 6LowPAN nodes will form a DODAG and react upon loss of connectivity according to standard RPL strategies.

The form factor of Development Board Station is compact, occupying just 21*29 cm of desk space, and CPL connectivity uses safe low-voltage. This platform was designed by our own engineers who work daily on 6lowPAN designs to facilitate their work and increase the reliability of their code. Now it is available for you as well !
